MOM'S WORKSHOPS AND SUPPORT GROUPS
Being a MOM can be many things -- exhilarating, frustrating, magical, exhausting, rewarding, chaotic, uplifting – and sometimes all at once!
But despite the immense joys, the challenges that come with motherhood are numerous –
if we as mothers aren’t careful, we will lose our centers, find ourselves depleted, and wonder “how did I get here?” For example, do you sometimes:
- wonder "what happened to the old me and is she still in there?"
- wish you could get more support/validation for the work you're doing?
- feel overwhelmed and need clarity on how to allocate your energy, create a support system and be a more effective parent & partner?
- find it challenging to take time-out for your own self-care, often seeing that you slip off the priority list?
- struggle with how to successfully juggle your work/career or other commitments with life as a mother?
- feel lonely or sad, even though this is supposed to be the happiest time of your life?
- suffer from feelings of guilt that you’re not doing it “right,” or it’s wrong to want and need your own identity?
In this group we’ll specifically explore and overcome these issues. You’ll learn to reconnect with your inner self, reclaiming your identity and, for some, defining a new identity that encompasses all you want to be! You’ll learn tools and techniques for battling guilt, maintaining your sanity, and gracefully managing all of the “roles” that you play. You’ll create a support system and be held accountable to self-care. You’ll laugh, at times you may cry, as we share the wonderful triumphs and challenges of mommyhood – ensuring that you not only “survive it all,” but truly thrive with a life of balance, grace, and joy!
